I love making fresh salsas! They are easy, and quick to make, full a fresh flavour, and it’s always great when you hear “Crunchomnommmmmm that’s good! mmmmcrunchcruchnchomnomnom.”
The other day, I had some watermelon lying around and I came up with this super yummy watermelon salsa. Sweet, spicy, fresh, and summery!
(in order of quantity, most to least)
Tortilla Chips (for raw vegans, raw crackers or chips)
All you have to do for salsa is chop, chop, chop! So begin by chopping up some watermelon into a bowl the size of salsa you want to have.
Chop up some cucumber to the same size as watermelon and add that.
Finely chop half to a whole jalapeño finely chopped (depending on how spicy the jalapeño is and how spicy you want your salsa). Add zest of one lime, and lime juice from half a lime. Season with a few grinds of pepper, and salt.
Mix it up, and enjoy! Serve with Tortilla chips.
