The Best Creamy Hemp Milk (or cream)

So quick and easy to make! Just blend and enjoy, no straining needed. Hemp milk is super rich and creamy and can be used on cereal, in cooking, or baking, in smoothies, and there is also an option to make it into hemp cream which is perfect for coffee or creamy sauces!

For hemp milk:

Optional add ins:

  • 1 - 4 tablespoons sweetener of choice (maple syrup, agave, sugar)
  • ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 - 3 tablespoons cocoa powder (for chocolate hemp milk)

Instructions

  • The instructions are the same whether you are making hemp milk or hemp cream. Add the water and hemp hearts to a blender. Optionally you can add sweetener, vanilla extract, and/or cocoa powder. Blend very well until it is completely smooth and creamy (I like to blend for at least 2 minutes). Pour into a bottle or container with a lid and store in the fridge until ready to use. It should keep fresh for up to 5 - 7 days or you can freeze it. Shake well before using as the milk can settle and separate. Use the hemp milk on cereal, in baking, in coffee or tea, anywhere you like!
