Vegan BLT (Easy, Smoky & Better Than the Classic!)
This Vegan BLT has everything you love about the classic. Smoky, crispy bacon, juicy tomatoes, crunchy lettuce, and creamy mayo, but made completely plant-based and incredibly easy. Use my homemade vegan mayo and your choice of tofu bacon, tempeh bacon, mushroom bacon, or seitan bacon (or even store-bought alternatives!) for a sandwich that’s bold, satisfying, and full of flavor. It’s the perfect quick lunch or easy weeknight dinner.
Cook the bacon: Prepare your vegan bacon of choice following your preferred method (pan-fry, bake, or air fry) until crispy and golden.
Toast the bread: Toast 2 slices of bread until lightly golden.
Spread the mayo: Generously spread vegan mayonnaise on both slices of toasted bread.
Layer the sandwich: Add the lettuce, then the tomato slices. Season tomatoes with a pinch of salt and pepper. Add the crispy vegan bacon on top. Add any additional toppings if you desire.
Assemble & slice: Close the sandwich. Use sandwich picks if you like, slice in half, and serve right away.
