I've been vegan for almost 10 years now, but you might be surprised to learn that when I first went vegan, I absolutely hated it.
I grew up loving meat and cheese. I didn't go vegan because I hated the taste of animal products. I went vegan because of the animals, the planet, and my health.
Since then I have made it my mission to fall in love with vegan food, and I discovered that all it took was a little creativity in the kitchen, and before I knew it I was loving vegan food. In fact, I loved it MORE than the animal product-based food I was eating before. I felt healthier and had more energy, I knew I was doing good for the world, and it tasted AMAZING. (I swear, you will be surprised).
Since 2013 I started to share my recipes here on my blog so that hopefully I could help other people who were reluctant vegans like me. Well 9 years of blogging, many hundreds of recipes, a million visitors a month, and 2 bestselling cookbooks later, I think I have achieved my mission- and I'm still going strong posting new recipes every single week!
